Come see a final dress rehearsal at no charge! Space is limited–you must register your group in advance. One chaperone required per ten students.

In-School Visits

Book a free visit to your classroom with General Director + CEO Ben Robinson and Head of Music Taylor Burkhardt! Whether you would like to prepare your class to attend a final dress rehearsal at Kentucky Opera or would like to have an interactive class on singing, acting, and what opera is, we would love to come and see you. Available all year upon requisition–please email youthprograms@kyopera.org.

Collegiate Opportunities

Overture is an opportunity to peek behind the curtain and learn all about opera! Opportunities include attending final dress rehearsals, attending an early staging rehearsal, and in-school programs.

Overture opportunities are generally available for students grades 7–12 and collegiate students.

Overture is offered September–May.
