Kentucky Opera Presents Youth Intensive Opera Camp of The Hobbit!
Tuesday, May 28 – Wednesday, June 5 9 am-5 pm with 2 performances Friday, June 7 at 7:30 pm and Saturday, June 8 at 2 pm
Camp Tuition: $700*^
*Included for those already enrolled in the Youth Opera Project

Dean Burry’s children opera adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkein’s The Hobbit follows Bilbo and his Dwarf companions as they embark on an adventure to find lost treasure. This opera features all roles played by children. In this 2-week camp, children ages 8-18 can expect to engage in singing, acting, movement, and more from teaching artists as they prepare for the performance of The Hobbit.
Lunches will be provided. Bring water and a snack.
