Kentucky Opera Chorus
Kentucky Opera holds open roster auditions for choristers every two years. Contact us to be added to the list for future auditions.
Singing storytellers—drama, tragedy, comic relief. The talented choristers are integral to Kentucky Opera productions and community. These are paid positions.
Chorus members participate in mainstage productions at The W.L. Lyons Brown Theatre and Kentucky Opera Center for Cultural Health. In addition to artistic growth and learning new music and styles, Kentucky Opera Choristers may participate in comprimario roles, community engagement, recitals, singing at small events, ballgames, and as ambassadors for the Kentucky Youth Opera.
