Commemorate Louisville’s Juneteenth Jubilee with Kentucky Opera
As part of Metro Louisville’s Juneteenth Jubilee Celebration, Kentucky Opera’s “Amplify Songs of Justice” concert lifts up music of America’s Civil Rights movements.
Featuring Civil Rights songs commissioned by Kentucky Opera and written by Paula McCraney and Jorell Williams, voices from across Louisville, churches, and college choirs come together to sing and celebrate African American culture and music. You’ll experience performances and the musical stylings of renowned, local artists, along with the joy of Kentucky Opera Juneteenth Jubilee Choir.

Doors open at 6 pm; concert begins at 7 pm.
Concessions provided by local vendor Brew & Sip with beverages and light snacks will be available for purchase.
