Opera Rhapsody Gala

You are cordially invited to the Opera Rhapsody Gala February 20th!
When you enter the Kentucky Opera Center for Cultural Health, you’ll find yourself in an elegant private courtyard in the Vieux Carré, the French Quarter. The guests around you will be in black tie or 1920s costume attire.
A jazz ensemble serenades you as you get your cocktail and mingle. Will you pose with your friends at the photo booth, sneak a peek at the menu, or get your fortune read? Or all three?
During dinner, there will be a performance by the Youth Opera Project members and Kentucky Opera’s new General Director and CEO, Ben Robinson will reveal the 2026/2027 season—you don’t want to miss it!
Our exciting live auction features trips and experiences around the world and right here in Louisville, including a chance to have a walk on role in next season’s opening production!

Louisville’s very own Emily Albrink and Jesse Donner will wow us with vocal fireworks at the end of the evening.

What will I support?
This is your Kentucky Opera, grown here and performed here for our community. Opera can transport us, make us feel deeply, and bring us together. The Opera Rhapsody Gala is a chance to not only welcome Ben to our community but voice our support for his exciting vision to spark discovery, joy, and connection. The funds we raise go to support both mainstage productions and education programs that can touch all members of our community.
