Chorus & Auditions
Kentucky Opera Chorus
Kentucky Opera holds open roster auditions for choristers every two years. Stay tuned for the next auditions in 2025!
Singing storytellers—drama, tragedy, comic relief. The talented choristers are integral to Kentucky Opera productions and community. These are paid positions for the upcoming seasons.
Chorus members participate in mainstage productions at The W.L. Lyons Brown Theatre and Kentucky Opera Center for Cultural Health. In addition to artistic growth and learning new music and styles, Kentucky Opera Choristers may participate in comprimario roles, community engagement, recitals, singing at small events, ballgames, and as ambassadors for the Kentucky Youth Opera.
We grateful to the many talented chorus members that contribute to the art and artistry of Kentucky Opera.
