The Guild of Kentucky Opera – making a difference through volunteering

The Guild of Kentucky Opera is the volunteer support arm of Kentucky Opera. The major purposes of the Guild are to provide volunteer help and support to Kentucky Opera, to advocate for opera in the community, to support Kentucky Opera’s education efforts, and to raise funds for Kentucky Opera. The Guild’s administrative expenses are covered largely through dues collected annually ($35 for an individual, $50 for a family, and $15 for full-time students).

Guild members support Kentucky Opera by volunteering their time, talent, and treasure in a variety of ways. Our dedicated volunteers help keep alive the vibrant, volunteer culture we have worked so hard to establish. Through The Guild of Kentucky Opera, we build a sense of community for opera lovers. Our Guild is a place to make friends, share a mutual appreciation of opera, and support Kentucky Opera as it endeavors to bring excellent professional productions to Louisville.
