Aubrey-Baker-Head-ShotHaving previously lived in Kentucky, Aubrey Baker is thrilled to be back in the Bluegrass! As the new Manger of Education Programming and Community Outreach with Kentucky Opera, Aubrey is eager to advocate for music education and outreach opportunities. Aubrey has previously worked within the Education department of the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, and has also stage-managed the Knoxville Symphony Youth Orchestra Association performances. She taught music courses with Roane State Community College and Tusculum College as she also maintained a private music studio. In addition to administration and education, Aubrey enjoys performing as a vocal soloist. She recently sang in faculty recitals with Roane State and as a vocal soloist with the Knoxville Symphony Chamber Orchestra. Aubrey received her Bachelors of Music from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and her Masters of Music from the University of Kentucky, with additional training and performance with Miami University Frost School of Music in Salzburg, Austria and with La Musica Lirica in Novafeltria, Italy.
