Kentucky Opera is seeking new chorus members and supernumeraries for our 2017-2018 Mainstage season!

WHAT TO PREPARE: Auditionees should prepare and bring 2 pieces (at least one in English) and a headshot/resume. At least one piece should be a classical song or aria. Accompanist will be provided. Each audition appointment will be five minutes.

Please note: if you have sung in Kentucky Opera’s chorus since the 2015-2016 season, you do not need to re-audition for this cycle.
Supernumeraries are non-speaking, non-singing roles in operas, similar to extras in movies. Casting needs vary per production. Kentucky Opera currently seeks supernumeraries of all ages, ethnicities, and genders.
If you are interested in being a supernumerary for next season, please bring a headshot/resume during the 1pm-5pm window.
An appointment is not necessary.
