Singers are to prepare 2 pieces, preferably one in English and one in either Italian and German. Classical, musical theater, religious songs, art songs, and arias are all acceptable. An accompanist will be provided.

All 2017-2018 chorus members will not need to audition again. All previous chorus members will have audition again. Rehearsal dates and times vary. Chorus rehearsals customarily start at 7:00 PM on weekdays and 2:00 PM on weekends. Rehearsals for The Magic Flute will start in August 2018 and rehearsals for Rigoletto will begin in January 2019.

Performances of Rigoletto are Friday, February 15, 2019, at 8:00pm and Sunday, February 17, 2019, at 2:00pm. Production tech week rehearsals start at 7:00 PM time but make-up and costume calls can be as early as 5:30 PM. A preliminary rehearsal schedule will be available at the time of auditions and can be made available prior to the auditions upon request.

First-year chorus members will be compensated at an hourly rate of $9.00 & $90 per performance. Returning chorus members will be compensated at an hourly rate of $9.50 & $95 per performance. The chorus is paid in full at the final performance.
