Des Moines Metro Opera Virtual Festival
In lieu of an in-person festival, Des Moines Metro Opera is teaming up with Iowa PBS to share online and televised presentations of our its productions of Billy Budd, Rusalka, Manon, Le Comte Ory and Bon Appétit! These broadcasts will serve as the centerpieces of Des Moines Metro Opera’s transformed 2020 Virtual Festival and will be supplemented by artist recitals, cast reunions, interviews, prelude talks, and digital versions of annual DMMO events.

LO Online: Duet performances with Louisville Orchestra’s Musical Director Teddy Abrams and LO Musicians, in addition to other behind the scenes content.
WUOL Broadcast Concerts: Louisville Orchestra concerts will be broadcast weekly on 90.5 WUOL Classical Louisville every Thursday evening at 8PM starting on May 21. These concerts, recorded live in performance, include 10 events from the 2018-2019 Brown-Forman Classics Series and seven events from the 2019-2020 Brown-Forman Classics Series.

2020 Virtual Cultural Pass
The 2020 Virtual Cultural Pass offers families in Greater Louisville with students (up to age 21) access to participate in virtual arts and cultural activities provided by nearly 50 venues, free of charge, from June 1 through August 8, 2020.
This year, Kentucky Opera is participating with our Time with Opera program, encouraged for ages 3 – 8. Join our teaching artist in this session of singing, read-aloud story time, movement, and story/character exploration using one of our favorite children’s books.
