Middle School and High School Programs
Final Dress Rehearsal for Students
This event is the culmination of weeks of rehearsal and collaboration for the singers, musicians, designers, and technical staff, and is the final performance before opening night. This program is appropriate for middle school students through college and university students. Large groups must be booked and paid for in advance. Tickets cost only $5.00 for all attendees including chaperones. There is a limit of one ticket per student and I.D. must be presented at the door. OperaWorks
The OperaWorks program is a fun and entertaining introduction to opera. Terminology and conventions of opera are presented through an amusing and easy to follow program that illustrates the lighter side of opera. The program relates operatic forms to contemporary musical styles and contemporary social and political issues and includes scenes from different operatic styles. Following the program there will be a question and answer period with the artists. This program is appropriate for middle and high school students. Study guide materials created according to KERA core content are available. $500
